Meet Our Coaches

Sean Del Ben – President & Director of Performance
MKIN | CSCS | FMS 2 | FRCMS | RMP 2
With a passion for helping athletes achieve their athletic performance goals, Sean founded Saltus Performance. His vision is to develop physically and mentally well-rounded, fundamentally sound athletes via scientifically proven strength & conditioning training.
Sean holds his Master in Kinesiology degree from UBC and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.
Sean has experience working with athletes from the elite youth athletes to the NCAA Division 1, USPORTS, National and Professional Level athletes in sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, rugby, hockey, swimming, track & field, rowing, karate, and triathlon.
He has also had the opportunity of participating in the annual fitness testing for the Vancouver Canucks. Sean has been a contributing writer for NorthPoleHoops, and is the strength & conditioning coach for West Point Grey Academy.

Kareem BA – Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
BKIN | CSCS | FMS Lvl. 2 | SFG Lvl.
Currently completing his Master’s in Rehabilitation Sciences at UBC, Kareem specializes in evidence-based, functional training programs that align with biomechanics, anatomy, and LTAD principles. His focus is on preparing youth athletes for long-term development, guiding safe return-to-play, and building performance foundations that translate across sport and life.

Jordan McLeod – Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach
BKIN | CSCS
Jordan graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and is currently completing her Master’s in Kinesiology degree from UBC. She holds her Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation through the NSCA.
Jordan also currently serves as a S&C coach for the Volleyball Canada NextGen program.
During her time at UBC, Jordan has worked with the varsity gym as an undergraduate coach where she has developed various skills in strength and conditioning coaching. Jordan also competed as a varsity athlete herself with the UBC Women’s Rugby team. She continues to pursue rugby at the senior national level with aspirations to play professionally in the coming years.
Introduced to strength and conditioning through her own athletic journey, Jordan soon developed a passion for helping others with their movement goals. Jordan looks forward to working with and learning from the community at Saltus Performance drawing on her academic background in kinesiology, previous coaching experiences, and personal background in sport.

Andre Rosen – Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach
MKin, CSCS
Andre finished his undergraduate degree at UBC in 2023 with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Neurobiology, and completed his Masters of Kinesiology from UBC in 2025. As a lifelong athlete, and current volleyball player competing in the semi-professional Vancouver Super League, sports and training have always been a central piece of Andre’s life — this passion played a large part in guiding his decision work with other athletes in pursuit of achieving their goals.
Outside of S&C and high performance sport, Andre also has experience in the rehabilitation field, having worked as a Kinesiologist and Physiotherapist’s assistant during his schooling. Having dealt with multiple injuries of his own as well, Andre views training and S&C both as a means to improve high-level athletic performance, but also to keep athletes healthy and feeling confident in their movements.
