Saltus has partnered with Universal Speed Rating (USR), a trusted speed analytics platform used by 200+ coaches and 100k+ athletes, to bring more objective, standardized speed testing to Vancouver. We don’t just run athletes fast, we measure, profile, and track speed so progress is clear and repeatable. Saltus is the only athletic performance centre in Vancouver using the Universal Speed Rating testing system. Our athletes start with a structured speed assessment that builds an individual profile across key qualities like max velocity, acceleration, change of direction, and power. From there, our coaches guide the athlete through structured training and consistently reassess your key metrics so you can see exactly what improved and where your biggest gains were made.

Team Speed Training
If your team isn’t training speed on purpose, you’re leaving wins on the table. Speed is the game-changer, it’s the first step that wins the loose ball, the burst that creates separation, and the decel-reaccel that turns a good athlete into a difference-maker.
We created team speed training for sports such basketball, soccer, hockey, football, rugby, baseball, and more. We can run your group on a set weekly schedule and tailor the drills to your sport’s demands.
Ideal for club teams, school teams, academy groups, and off-season training.
